i love this - the attention to detail executed beautifully. editing cues (always cut to motion) are used throughout to reinforce the separation of cities. the ending doesn’t disappoint and fades to black exactly when it should.

i miss the music video
For the past few days, we have been in studio shooting a really cool Mother’s Day promotion for TASSIMO. The idea was borrowed from what SKITTLES did with their “Taste the Rainbow” campaign - where they read, and recorded, your current Facebook status. We have taken this a step further - to record a special Mother’s Day video greeting, sung in its entirety by a Glee choir. Work like this is tough and gruelling (we are averaging 100 custom messages a day). I would like to think that receiving one of these custom messages would be a nice surprise and delight. To me, this is what the the internet, and moreover, digital marketing is all about. I may not be the filmmaker I aspired to be when I started film school in 1997 - but I’d like to think that producing innovative work like this is rewarding in its own way.
